Korenberg, who had already been a strategic consultant at Miramax, has among her credits the indie hits Half Nelson and Hard Candy. In her new role, she will report to EVP Zanne Devine and be tasked with identifying and pursuing content for the studio’s slate of film and TV projects. She will also spearhead co-production opportunities related to the company’s library.

Louis Drax stars Jamie Dornan, Aaron Paul, Sarah Gadon and Oliver Platt and is in post-production.

“We are delighted to welcome an executive of Rosanne’s caliber,” said Devine. “Through our work together, including The 9th Life Of Louis Drax, Ro has already shown her ability to be an integral part of our team. We look forward to Ro putting her impressive track record, extensive network and her vision to work for Miramax across a broader array of exciting new projects as we continue to build the Miramax brand.”

Miramax most recently teamed with Screen Gems on The Wedding Ringer with Kevin Hart and Josh Gad, which bowed last week and has grossed $24M to date. Next on its plate is partnering with Roadside Attractions on the mystery crime drama Mr Holmes with Ian McKellen, which premieres next month at Berlin. On the TV side, it is gearing up for Season 2 of Robert Rodriguez’s From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series on El Rey Network.
