Mama Drama Runs High in New Lifetime Movie 'Dangerous Intuition' [Exclusive Video]

The claws are out in Lifetime's new psychological thriller "Dangerous Intuition," as successful working mom Kate Aldrich (Tricia Helfer) is forced to share custody of her daughter, Izzy, with stay-at-home-mom Laura (Estella Warren), the woman that Kate's husband, Dan (David Cubitt), left her for. Kate grows erratic as she increasingly has premonitions that her daughter is in danger and that Laura's the threat. Even worse: No one believes Kate, and even her close friend and attorney Hugh (Dylan Neal) is questioning her sanity.

In this exclusive sneak peek, Kate and Laura have a run-in at Izzy's school, and words are exchanged. "Izzy told me a strange man was watching her when she was horseback riding. Where were you?" Kate asks Laura with a death stare. Laura insists that she knows nothing about it and says, "I would never let anything happen to Izzy. I love her as if she were my own child." Clearly, that doesn't sit well with Kate, who shoots back, "But she's not yours, and she never will be. Are we clear?"

Laura's got the lowest of blows on hand, and she goes there: "I'm sorry that you weren't good enough for Dan, but he's happy now and so is Izzy. ... You really don't want to make an enemy out of me, Kate."

Looks like things are going to get ugly (and scary) as Laura surely puts the "psycho" in psychological thriller. And what better time for this TV movie event to make its worldwide debut than on Mother's Day weekend, right?

"Dangerous Intuition" premieres on Saturday, 5/11 at 8 PM on Lifetime.
