Duo Leaves Legendary’s Marketing Division

Legendary senior VPs of marketing Joel Chiodi and Christopher Erb have left the company, sources tell Variety.

After working on the “Pacific Rim” marketing campaign, Chiodi will leave the company and join Paramount’s marketing team. Sources say Chiodo made the decision on his own, and that Erb was let go.

This marks the second major change in the department in the past month, with the company bringing in Emily Castel as its new marketing chief. Sources say both left the company shortly after she was named chief.

Castel’s appointment came following Legendary’s purchase of her marketing agency FIVE33.
