Lady Gaga Breaks Down in Tears on CBS: ‘I Miss People’

Lady Gaga broke down in tears during an upcoming “CBS Sunday Morning” interview when discussing how fame has affected her life.

“I miss people,” the pop star said through tears, according to the network. “I miss, you know, going anywhere and meeting a random person and saying ‘Hi,’ and having a conversation about life. I love people.”

Gaga said she is “very acutely aware” that she is not “free anymore” when she exits her home.

“As soon as I go out into the world, I belong, in a way, to everyone else. It’s legal to follow me. It’s legal to stalk me at the beach. And I can’t call the police or ask them to leave. And I took a long hard look at that property line and I said, well, if I can’t be free out there, I can be free in here,” she said, pointing to her chest.

The interview also features Gaga discussing her new album, “Joanne,” and a trip to John Lennon’s “Strawberry Fields” memorial in Central Park.

“CBS Sunday Morning” airs on Sundays at 9 a.m. ET.
