Queen Kylie! On Sunday, Aug. 9, Kylie Jenner rang in her 18th birthday with her massive friendly family and a handful of friends at The Nice Guy in West Hollywood.
The now officially legal reality star sported platinum blond locks, which reportedly is a wig, and a sparkling silver minidress for the festivities. Almost her entire family turned up, including parents Kris and Caitlyn Jenner.
Naturally, Kylie was fashionably late to her fête, allowing her A-list guests time to get there first. Her half-sister Kim Kardashian arrived early with hubby Kanye West, showing off ample cleavage in a black bra top as the photographers snapped pictures outside the restaurant.
The couple were later joined by model Kendall Jenner, who donned a tiny white crop top and black skirt with a thigh-high slit. Nineteen-year-old Kendall, who was accompanied by her model pal Hailey Baldwin, posted a glamour shot from the restaurant’s kitchen via Instagram with the caption, “I BE IN THE KITCHEN COOKIN' PIES.”
Shortly after, basketball star James Harden arrived, followed by his new love Khloe Kardashian. Khloe walked inside, greeting Harden with a kiss on the lips. The pair were later spotted dancing to a jazz band’s cover of Radiohead’s “Creep.”
An eyewitness tells Us Weekly that Khloe had her arms wrapped around Harden’s neck and was gazing into his eyes. The pair shared the romantic dance before sliding into the booth that Kim and Kanye were sharing with Kris and her boyfriend, Corey Gamble.
“James seems really close to the family,” the eyewitness notes to Us. “He seems to have a great rapport with Kendall. She was chatting with him like crazy, and there was lots of laughing.”
Next to arrive was a newly single Kourtney Kardashian, who rocked a racy black cutout jumpsuit, which showed off her slim figure after welcoming her third child in December. Her ex Scott Disick was nowhere in sight.
Caitlyn Jenner made her entrance wearing a black leather jacket and matching black dress. When she came into the restaurant, Khloe introduced her to Harden.
Caitlyn happily chatted with her daughter Kendall and her model friends. Though Kris had her back to Caitlyn’s booth, her boyfriend, Corey, made several attempts to be friendly to Caitlyn, helping her out with something on her phone.
“Corey genuinely made an effort, and often on Kris’ behalf,” the eyewitness adds.
The birthday girl didn’t make her grand entrance until almost 10 p.m. local time, more than an hour after her family had first started to arrive. Her rumored boyfriend, Tyga, came in behind her wearing lots of chains.
After being greeted by her family and friends and taking a few obligatory selfies, Kylie sat in the booth next to Caitlyn. All of the girls took a series of photos throughout the night and Tyga, 25, was often their official photographer.
“He was a very doting boyfriend,” the observer notes. “He was taking her photos for her, leading her around the bar. The family was really spoiling Kylie. You can tell she felt like a princess tonight.”
And the party had only just begun. Kylie and many of her guests left The Nice Guy after dinner and made their way over to Bootsy Bellows for the afterparty.
It was there that Tyga pulled out his biggest surprise — a white Ferrari 482 Italia, which retails for $320,000. Kylie, who had changed into a skintight black cocktail dress looked overwhelmed by the gift, putting her hands over her mouth as photographers snapped the priceless reaction.
Kris and Kylie slid into the front seats of the car, which had a giant red ribbon on it, to check out the interior. The birthday girl looked elated, thanking her rapper love for the extravagant gift.
This isn’t the first gift (or even the first car) that Kylie has received from Tyga. The “Hookah” emcee already handed over the keys to a cherry red Mercedes Benz.
