If you're planning to dress up as Kim Kardashian West for Halloween, the Internet urges you to avoid taking it this far.
Following the 35-year-old reality star's traumatic robbery in Paris, France, in which she was robbed at gunpoint and tied up in the luxurious apartment she was staying in during Paris Fashion Week, one online retailer seemed to be inspired by the heist, creating a costume that mocked the incident.
The costume, titled "Parisian Heist Robbery Victim Costume Kit" and retailing for $69.99, was featured on costumeish.com. According to the description, it included a long black wig, "white short sexy robe," fake gag, two feet of rope, "$4 million ring" and sunglasses, all of which were shown on a model who looked nearly identical to the Selfish author.
The offensive costume received immediate backlash, with fans taking to Twitter to express their concerns. "I think the @KimKardashian Halloween costume crosses the line," one user wrote. "Regardless of your opinion of her, what she went through isn't a joke."
"The #Halloween costume portraying #KimKardashian in such a terrifying situation is so disgusting, inappropriate, and disturbing," another shared. See more reactions below.
That Kim Kardashian 'gagged at gun point' Halloween costume is actually sick. Some extremely twisted people out there.— Olivia Barraclough (@liv_barraclough) October 11, 2016
The Kim Kardashian Halloween costume is one of the cruelest things I've ever seen. Why would someone do that, it isn't funny. Truly vile.— CARAPOLITAN (@caramademe) October 11, 2016
The fact that there's a 'kim kardashian held at gun point' halloween costume just proves how messed up people are— Izzy (@SameoIdhs) October 11, 2016
I don't like Kim Kardashian but the Halloween costume of her tied up while being robbed is insulting to all women who have been assaulted— GabrielleMakrdichian (@GabrielleMakian) October 11, 2016

In the words of her rapper husband, Kanye West, "How could you be so heartless?"
Costumeish later apologized via Twitter, however, writing, "Due to the extensive out-lash we have decided to remove the 'Parisian Heist' costume from our website. We are sorry if it offended anyone."

"Upper management wanted the costume removed, so we had to take the costume down," Johnathon Weeks, Costumeish's Creative Director, told ET on Tuesday. "[The costume team] brought the idea to the table, we made the costume, took a photo of it and a couple news people got a hold of it and it snowballed into this big huge story. A lot of people found offense to it, so our upper management wants the costume taken off of our site due to the backlash."
Meanwhile, Khloe Kardashian was a guest on Tuesday's The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where she broke her silence on her older sister's scary robbery.
"I mean, it's incredibly traumatic what happened to her," the former Kocktails With Khloe host said. "But our family is super close and great and we'll get through it together and we do appreciate all of your guys' love and support."
"It will take time," she added. "You know, it was horrible what happened to her." Hear more in the video below.
