‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ Production Has Not Been Halted, E! Says

Season 13 of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” is still in production, despite reports to the contrary, Variety has learned. “‘Keeping Up With the Kardashians’ is currently in production and has not been halted,” an E! spokesperson told Variety Tuesday morning.

The reports come as Kim Kardashian West’s husband, Kanye West, remains hospitalized after reportedly suffering a breakdown and being taken to a hospital by paramedics on Nov. 21. West had canceled the remainder of his Saint Pablo tour just prior to his hospitalization, and had previously gone on lengthy rants during recent performances that took aim at Jay-Z, Beyoncé, and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. West had also told a crowd at a San Jose show that, had he voted, he would have cast a ballot for now president-elect Donald Trump. The couple has two children together, Saint and North.

The TMZ report cites sources that say Kardashian West is “rethinking everything,” and that although “KUWTK” was supposed to film during the holidays, those plans have been nixed.

Production on “KUWTK” was indeed halted in October after Kardashian West was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, though she returned to work three weeks later. “Kim’s well-being is our core focus right now,” a spokesperson for E! told Variety at the time.
