Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston Perform Soap Opera Made With Kanye Lyrics on ‘Corden’
The Late Late Show With James Corden debuted a new take on soap operas Thursday with The Bold and the Lyrical, where all the words come from Kanye West lyrics.
Joining Corden for the dramatic performance were Jessica Biel, Bryan Cranston, and Giovanni Ribisi. The plot centers around Biel and Cranston at an altar preparing to be married while Corden and Ribisi interrupt the ceremony looking for a last chance at love with Biel.
It’s hilarious and also a bit scary how Kanye’s lyrics fit so well into a soap opera. Lines like, “How can I be so reckless?” and, “Oh, she’s a gold digger, way over town,” seem like they could have been uttered on an actual soap. Perhaps a new career for Kanye is on the horizon!
