Jenny McCarthy Reacts to Rosie O'Donnell Rejoining The View: "They Are Definitely Going in the Direction of Fire"
Jenny McCarthy may be leaving the table, but she'll still stay tuned to The View once Rosie O'Donnell takes over. The comedian-actress—who announced her departure from the ABC series late last month—reacted to O'Donnell's return while hosting an event in Las Vegas on Friday, July 11.

"I love Rosie. I have been a fan of hers forever," the 41-year-old star told reporters at The Palazzo Las Vegas. "I knew they were looking to bring some heat to the table and there is no doubt that will Rosie there will be some heat. They are definitely going in the direction of fire."
"It's going to be some exciting television," she continued. "I will be there with my beer and popcorn at eleven in the morning. I can't wait to see how it plays out."
McCarthy—who incorrectly predicted in a pre-exit interview that she would be on the daytime talk show in 20 years—seems to have already moved on, too. "Monday there will be a big announcement," she said. "Everyone should do something they love doing but that shows off their strengths and have fun while doing it."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck, for her part, hasn't been as positive about O'Donnell's return. The Fox News contributor called into Fox & Friends to vent her frustrations, saying O'Donnell has "spit on the face of military" and "spit in the face of her own network." Days later, she responded to her critics via Instagram to clarify her comments.

"I don't hate Rosie," she wrote. "I actually called to talk to her 7 years ago. She did not want to speak to me," she noted of their ongoing feud. "I am happy to have a #momversation about why I would never defend her 2007 comments."
