Hot Trailer: ‘Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom’

Just in time for Nelson Mandela’s 95th birthday today, we get the first trailer for his biopic starring Idris Elba. Mandela: Long Walk To Freedom tells the story of the South African prisoner-turned-president from his formative years through his long incarceration to the end of apartheid and his ascension to power. The Weinstein Company opens Justin Chadwick’s film November 29 — in the heart of awards season, natch:
