Adele's chart-topping hit "Hello" was named record of the year at the 2017 Grammys on Sunday night.
The song, from her album 25, beat out Beyonce's "Formation," "7 Years" by Lukas Graham, Drake and Rihanna's "Work" and Twenty One Pilots' "Stressed Out."
Upon receiving her fifth Grammy on Sunday night, including album of the year, the songstress thanked her idol, Beyonce, saying, "My dream and my idol is Queen B, and I adore you and you move my soul every single day and I adore you and I want you to be my mommy."
"Uptown Funk" by Bruno Mars won the award last year and Sam Smith's "Stay With Me" won in 2015.
