Globes Hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler Riff on Daniel Day-Lewis' Avatar, Angelina Jolie and More
Why did Tina Fey and Amy Poehler sign up for the oftentimes difficult task of hosting the Golden Globe Awards, airing Jan. 13 on NBC?
“It’s a very kind of sloppy, loud party, and that seemed like our kind of thing,” jokes 30 Rock star Fey in the following video.
The comedy darlings also riff on who they’d like to meet as “the beautiful people of film rub shoulders with the horrible, disgusting people of television.” But they haven’t been keeping up with the movies this year so the blue folks from Avatar are at the top of the list (“And the winner for Best Actor in a Drama is Daniel Day-Lewis for Avatar,” they practice announcing.), while Poehler hopes to have a non-imaginary conversation with her “friend” Angelina Jolie.
