‘Girl Meets World’ Mounts One Last ‘Boy Meets World’ Reunion in Series Finale (Exclusive Video)

After three seasons, “Girl Meets World” comes to an end on Disney Channel with an episode that reunites a majority of the cast of “Boy Meets World.”

In this exclusive promo (above), William Daniels’ Mr. Feeny, a pivotal parental figure on the original ABC comedy, plays a large role as Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga’s (Danielle Fishel) daughter, Riley (Rowan Blanchard), and her friends get ready to say goodbye.

The episode, titled “Girl Meets Goodbye,” sees the Matthews family dealing with a huge decision: Should the family move to London after Topanga is named the head of that branch of her law firm?

The episode will also serve as the series finale for the Michael Jacobs-created sitcom, though the showrunner disagrees with the decision to cancel it after three seasons.

“We are certainly having discussions, there are some interested platforms,” he told TheWrap. “I don’t think ‘Girl’ should have been canceled. We signed to do four seasons. I thought we would be able to tell stories through four seasons. That’s the way we set it up. It was going to be a remarkable final year. But I understand, things end.”

Jacobs said discussions are underway and there is interest from other platforms — like Netflix or Hulu — to continue the show.

In the meantime, the show comes to an end on Disney Channel on Friday, January 20 at 6 p.m. ET.
