Gigi Pritzker’s Oddlot Acquires Romantic Comedy ‘Septillion to One’

Gigi Pritzker’s OddLot Entertainment has acquired the movie rights to the romantic comedy script “Septillion to One” with plans to fast track the project into production.

The script, written by Adam R. Perlman (“The Newsroom”) and Graham Sack (“The Morgan Principle”), centers on an overzealous former FBI agent who has been relegated to the fraud unit of the Texas State Lottery. He begins investigating a beautiful woman, who had inexplicably defied all odds and hit the lottery jackpot three times, and falls in love.

Pritzker will produce with Tom McNulty and Linda McDonough.

“Linda and Tom brought us this contemporary romantic comedy that kept us riveted and entertained until the end,” said Pritzker in a statement. “This is a smart script, based on a true story out of Texas, has commercial viability with a slew of A-list talent and directors already interested.”

OddLot will finance and Michael Nathanson and Rachel Shane will oversee the project.

OddLot’s credits include “Ender’s Game,” “Draft Day” and “Mortdecai.”
