Fox News Plans Upgrades to Newsroom, Digital Venues
Fox News Channel plans to make some upgrades to its physical facility as well as its digital arm, two of the network’s top executives told employees Friday.
“We are working on a number of different projects and one of the key things is the workspace, which hasn’t really much changed in 20 years and we have plans in place to upgrade, particularly the newsroom. We also have a plan in place to upgrade FoxNews.com and our other digital ventures,” said Jack Abernethy, a co-president at the 21st Century Fox-owned cable-news outlet. Abernethy said a new $30 million studio would be available for use by Election Night.
