‘Fatal Attraction’ TV Series DOA at Fox
The “Fatal Attraction” TV series is not going forward at Fox, TheWrap has learned.
The adaptation of the 1987 Michael Douglas-Glenn Close movie was in the works way back in Summer 2015, but casting issues stalled it out.
The cast-contingent project was passed on by Megan Fox, we’re told by an individual with knowledge of the proposed production. By the time Jenna Dewan hopped aboard, the show was pretty much a goner.

“Mad Men” duo Maria and Andre Jacquemetton were tasked with executive producing and writing the drama for Paramount Television. Stanley R. Jaffe and Anonymous Content’s Rosalie Swedlin were also set to serve as exec producers.
The original film starred Douglas as a married lawyer who has an affair with Close’s character, who begins to stalk him and his family in increasingly horrifying ways.
Paramount TV may still shop the small-screen version around, TheWrap was told.
