Discovery's highest-rated series Gold Rush will return for its third season on Friday, Oct. 26 — and this time around, someone will strike it rich!

Fall Preview: Get the scoop on the new and returning shows

The season will kick off with the 90-minute special Gold Rush: Do or Die (7:30/6:30c), leading into the one-hour premiere at 9/8c, during which we'll finally get to the bottom of the infamous Glory Hole (yes, that one). Will Dakota Fred be the one who hits the mother lode? Or will Todd and right-hand man Dave get past their tensions? Or maybe it's Parker, fresh out of high school, who makes some big changes at his grandpa's mine in hopes of earning a profit.
