Act prudently, William Adama, because one wrong move here could render a feature film and some 100 episodes of TV moot.

With the final two installments of the prequel series Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome set to premiere this Friday on the online channel Machinima Prime, TVLine has a first look at one pivotal showdown.

Set in the midst of the first Cylon war that raged across the 12 colonial worlds, Blood & Chrome follows Will (callsign “Husker”) Adama — here just a gifted fighter pilot, played by Luke Pasqualino — as he’s assigned to the Galactica, where he has butted heads with co-pilot Coker (Stargate AtlantisBen Cotton).

As seen in the clip below (from Episode 9 of 10), in the aftermath of the deadly Cylon ambush, Coker forces Adama to a heated standoff. Then, in the final entry, a startling new development threatens to affect the future of the human race.

If you’re looking to catch up online, here are the links for Blood & Chrome Episodes 1, 2, 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8. The series will also air as a two-hour movie on Syfy (airdate TBA), then get a Blu-ray/DVD/VOD release.
