EXCLUSIVE: 'Gilmore Girls' Cast Reunites at Netflix Revival Premiere Party, Lauren Graham Gushes 'I'm So Thankful We Made It'
As if it isn't enough that we're getting more of the Gilmore Girls, the entire cast just reunited at a party fit for Stars Hollow!
Ahead of Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life's much-anticipated streaming release on Nov. 25, the cast turned out in full force for the Netflix revival's Los Angeles premiere on Friday.

ET's Leanne Aguilera caught up with all three of the Gilmore women on the red carpet -- Lauren Graham (Lorelai), Alexis Bledel (Rory), and Kelly Bishop (Emily) -- and they were equal parts excited and in awe that they got to not just return to their iconic roles, but to do so with major fan fare.

"I'm just so thankful! I'm so thankful we made it," Graham, 49, admitted of the revival's very-near premiere date. "And it's been such a big part of my life. I just got the feeling today, like, 'Oh, we can start to enjoy it now and share it with fans and not have to say no comment after we're asked any question.' So, it just feels really good."
Bledel, 35, seconded her on-screen mom's sentiment, telling ET, "It's quite surreal to have gotten to do this at all."

We won't give away any spoilers here (trust us -- we've got some major post-premiere news coming your way soon!), but Bishop did reveal just how big the life changes really are for Emily now that her husband, Richard, has died. (The real-life actor, Edward Hermann, died of brain cancer last December, and the show paid tribute to him accordingly.)
"It's a real journey... she's dealing with the new reality, which is that she is a widow and she's got to figure out her life," the 72-year-old actress explains. "And she goes up and down and back and forth, as we all do in grief. Then I think by the end, she's starting to get it worked out. I think she's starting to get something, but she has a few places that she goes that are not great."
The trio also posed together on the red carpet with the extended cast -- including Liza Well (Paris), Danny Strong (Doyle), Sean Gunn (Kirk), Yanic Truesdale (Michel), Scott Patterson (Luke), Tanc Sade (Finn), Matt Czuchry (Logan) and Keiko Agena (Lane) -- completely warming our Gillie hearts.

They then headed inside to watch one of the four episodes and celebrate. The craziest thing may be just how much they've all changed in the nine years since Gilmore Girls left the airwaves. That's especially true of Bledel, Weil, and Ageno -- they played college-aged characters when the show wrapped up in its seventh season and looked oh-so-grown-up on premiere night.
Not only are these lovely ladies all back for the Netflix series, Melissa McCarthy also reprised her role as Sookie St. James for one of the "seasons." Find out how Graham felt about her friend's return -- plus three more things you need to know before the streaming premiere -- in the video below.
