Exclusive 'Falling Skies' Season 3 Sneak Peek: Rage Against the Machines
The 2nd Mass battles Mega Mechs to free a group of captives.
Just when the humans of "Falling Skies" think the tide has turned in their battle against the alien skitters, they come face to face with the Mega Mechs.
When Season 3 of the TNT sci-fi drama premieres June 9, the 2nd Mass is executing raids to save their fellow humans.
"The 2nd Mass is now tasked with rescuing as many of the harnessed kids as possible, and they've literally been going all over the country doing these rescue missions," executive producer Remi Aubuchon said at WonderCon in March.

But is the lean, mean fighting machine a match for the new, gigantic, hulking robots -- the Mega Mechs -- deployed by the skitters?
In this exclusive sneak peek at the third season, the 2nd Mass -- including Ben Mason (Connor Jessup) and Matt Mason (Maxim Knight) -- deploy a well-planned strike at a mining operation, overcoming a few skitters to release a group of captives. There, Jeanne (Laci J. Mailey) reunites with her boyfriend, Diego, but he's been harnessed and doesn't remember her.
Just when a smirking Pope (Colin Cunningham) wants to celebrate their victory, Col. Weaver (Will Patton) warns him, "It ain't over 'til ... " And he turns out to be right, as two hulking Mega Mechs rise up in front of them.
How will the 2nd Mass get out of this one?
