Evangeline Lilly: Orlando Bloom Lied About Us Getting "Wasted" Together!

Orlando Bloom had some pretty funny stories to tell when he stopped by Chelsea Lately earlier this month. But according to Evangeline Lilly, at least one of those stories was made up. Appearing on Chelsea Handler's late-night show on Tuesday, Dec. 17, the Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug actress set the record straight on Bloom's claims that they got "wasted" together and she threw up.

"He's the nicest guy, but I heard he was here telling stories about me that weren't true," Lilly, 34, told Handler. "He changed the story to a ridiculous degree. Because I don't remember him being at the party!"

He certainly remembered her. But he also recalled her being there with her "husband" -- and she's not married. "My partner was not at this party," the former Lost star said of her boyfriend, Norman Kali. "Clearly Orlando was not at this party! I was there with my girlfriend!"

As for the claim that she got sick at the party? "Total lie," she said. "I am a classy dame. I might have run into a wall, but I did not throw up."

Lilly also talked with Handler about rumors that she does impressions of the late-night comedienne. "I heard you do impressions of me reading my own book," the host said. "Is this true?"

Turns out it is! "My partner doesn't read. He's not illiterate; he just chooses not to read, and I love reading. I'm obsessed with reading," Lilly explained. "We really love your show, and we really love you. We think you're hilarious. So we got your book, and I really wanted to read it with him, but he doesn't read."

"He cooks, though. He's a really good cook. So while he was cooking, I would sit in the kitchen with my laptop open, and I would read your book out loud," she continued.

"The problem is, Chelsea's funny because of her delivery," the Canadian star told the audience. "So when I was reading it, I was like, 'This isn't going to be funny. This is going to be as flat and dry as possible.' And then I was like, 'Oh, yeah! Flat and dry! I'll sound exactly like Chelsea!'"
