Emotional Behind-the-Scenes Footage From Election Night
On The Circus: Inside the Greatest Political Show on Earth, we were given a behind-the-scenes look at election night in America, and it featured two parties — two very different parties.
In the episode, we watched the massive crowd of Hillary Clinton supporters at the magnificent Javits Center prepare to celebrate Clinton’s victory, while a much smaller group of Trump supporters gathered in a Hilton ballroom to await the results.
When Florida went to Donald Trump, the vibe at each party changed dramatically. At the Javits Center, Clinton supporters became sad and many started to leave, while over at Trump’s party headquarters, the realization of the historic upset was cause for celebration.
Trump supporters were hugging and high-fiving, and across town, Clinton supporters were wiping away tears.
