Debate Star Ken Bone Explains Red-Sweater Choice

Anyone watching the second presidential debate between Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton knows that America has found the person we need to lead us after President Barack Obama leaves office: Ken Bone. He was one of the undecided voters at the town hall debate on Sunday night. Bone immediately caught everyone’s eye with that bright red sweater. He explained to CNN’s Carol Costello why he wore it.

“I had a really nice olive suit that I love a great deal and my mother would have been very proud to see me wearing on television, but apparently I have gained about 30 pounds, and when I went to get in my car the morning of the debate I split the seat of my pants all the way open,” Bone admitted. “So the red sweater is Plan B. I’m glad it worked out.”

Bone came into the debate as an undecided voter and, well, left it as one. “I know people hate to hear this, but I think I might be more undecided than ever,” Bone said. “I was leaning very heavily toward Donald Trump, but Secretary Clinton impressed me with her composure and with a lot of her answers. So now I think I’m just going to wait for the last political debate, and in this cycle you never know what could happen.”
