Dave Brown, Zadoc Angell Join Echo Lake

Dave Brown and Zadoc Angell have joined Echo Lake Management, the management division of Echo Lake Entertainment.

Brown had served as president of motion picture and television at Artist International, and Angell had been head of television. Former Artist International managers Matt Horwitz and James Engle have also joined Echo Lake.

Brown and Angell have worked writers and directors on “Sons of Anarchy,” “Justified,” NCIS: Los Angeles,” “Rizzoli & Isles,” “Community” and “Arrow. They helped package the new ABC Family series “Twisted,” which premieres Tuesday.

Brown worked at Genesis, Benderspink and ran his own management company Sleeping Giant Entertainment before joining Artist International three years ago. Angell also worked at Genesis and at Paradigm.

Echo Lake’s produced or financed more than 30 films, including Alexander Payne’s “Nebraska,” Pedro Almodovar’s “I’m So Excited” and “Romeo and Juliet” starring Hailee Steinfeld and Douglas Booth.
