Community Goes 'Crazy' for Jason Alexander
Jason Alexander is taking a field trip to Community.
TVLine has confirmed that the Seinfeld vet will guest-star in a Season 4 installment of the NBC comedy.
“Filming a crazy episode of Community this week,” Alexander revealed via Twitter Tuesday. “Can’t say much about it, but it’s a fun one.”
Details surrounding the role are being kept under wraps, but it’s safe to assume the actor won’t be sharing screen time with Chevy Chase, who officially exited the cult hit late last month. Given that Community is shooting its last batch of episodes out of order, Chase will appear in the fourth season finale, but possibly not in the two leading up to it — one of which likely features Alexander.

This marks the second casting coup for a Seinfeld alum this week: Michael Richards was just tapped to co-star opposite Kirstie Alley in the TV Land comedy pilot Giant Baby.
Community Season 4 launches Thursday, Feb. 7 at 8/7c.
