Chris Pratt In Early Talks For ‘Jurassic World’; Dwayne Johnson & Relativity Set For ‘Not Without Hope’; Hannah Marks Joins ‘Anesthesia’; Harry Hamlin & Irina Bjorklund Spark ‘Erotic Fire’

Chris Pratt is in very early talks for Jurassic World, the 3D sequel that Universal will release June 12, 2015. The actor would play the role Josh Brolin was being eyed for last month. Colin Trevorrow is directing the pic, and he co-wrote the latest draft with Derek Connolly. Steven Spielberg is producing the film with Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley. Pratt next appears in the Vince Vaughn starrer Delivery Man , which opens next weekend. He has a voice role in The Lego Movie and also will star in Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy. Recent film credits include Zero Dark Thirty and The Five-Year Engagement. Pratt also stars on NBC’s Parks And Recreation. He is repped by CAA and Mosaic.

Dwayne Johnson is attached to star in Not Without Hope for Relativity, which will finance, produce, and distribute the deep-sea survival pic. Johnson will play Nick Schuyler, whose best-selling memoirs form the true-story basis of the film. Pic tracks Schuyler and his three buds, including NFL players Marquis Cooper and Corey Smith and ex-college athlete Will Bleakley, whose fishing trip went awry, leaving the foursome adrift off the coast of Florida in 2009.

Relativity’s Ryan Kavanaugh will produce the pic. Johnson, Dany Garcia, Relativity’s Tucker Tooley, and French/West/Vaughan’s Rick French are executive producing. Hiram Garcia is co-executive producer. Brett Dahl, Relativity’s VP Production, will oversee for the studio.

Necessary Roughness actress Hannah Marks has joined the cast of Anesthesia, from writer-director-star Tim Blake Nelson. Marks will play Ella, the rebellious teen granddaughter of Professor Walter Zarrow (Sam Waterston). Marks’ Runaways co-star Kristen Stewart, Glenn Close, Corey Stoll, Gretchen Mol, Michael K. Williams fill out the ensemble. Her upcoming projects also include Hard Sell with Kristen Chenoweth and Skyler Gisondo, Rose McGowan’s directorial debut Dawn, and You Can’t Win opposite Michael Pitt.

Harry Hamlin has signed on to The Erotic Fire of the Unattainable, from Brazil-born photographer and first-time feature helmer Emilia Ferreira. Starring with Hamlin is Finnish actress Irina Bjorklund, while Edoardo Ballerini (Boardwalk Empire), Kevin Kilner (House of Cards) and Margot Bingham (Boardwalk Empire) round out the cast. Pic takes an unflinching, slyly humorous journey through the complicated, sensuous mind of a woman juggling lovers and ex-husbands, travel and solitude, money and inner rebellion. Gay Walley adapted the screenplay from her own book. Courtney Andrialis and Suzy Franczak Davis are producing the pic with Michael Bohlmann executive producing. Tangerine Entertainment’s Amy Hobby and Anne Hubbell are also exec producing.
