All the A-listers were at the awards June 3 and looking better than ever thanks to some amazing brows! HollywoodLife.com got an exclusive interview with one of Tinseltown’s biggest brow experts on who had the best brows of the night. Vote on your favorite!
Brow expert Anastasia Soare has tended to some of the most famous eyebrows in Hollywood, including Jennifer Lopez, Madonna, Charlize Theron and Oprah! And there’s a reason the hottest stars in Hollywood flock to her skilled hands: She knows the best shape for every face! “Brows should be shaped according to bone structure,” says Anastasia. “Bolder, thicker brows bring more attention to your eyes and create a more youthful look,” she says. “The best brows frame the face and create proportion.”
Anastasia took some time out of her busy schedule to give HollywoodLife.com the 411 on who had the best brows at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. Shailene Woodley had a natural medium arch, which is naturally fuller and ideal for a heart shaped face. She can let her arch length go a bit more towards the ends of her eyes to chisel her features a bit and open up her eyes more.
Emma Watson has beautiful eyes and a naturally petite brow arch. Her brow shape is youthful and makes her eyes pop.
Kristen Stewart keeps her brows thinner with a bit of an arch—a great compliment to her green eyes.
Charlize Theron has the best of both worlds—an arch that is both naturally high and surprisingly full for a blonde.
Lucy Hale’s brows are what I call ‘Bombshell Arch’ : a high arch that’s sculpted. This is the most requested type of brow arch at the salon.
Julianne Hough has the most striking blue eyes! Her medium brow arch is thick but opens up her eyes.
Elizabeth Banks has a bold brow with a straight arch, it goes really well with her smokey eye look.
