Charlie Grandy and Peter Traugott have sold a half-hour single-camera comedy project to Fox via Universal TV with a script commitment plus penalty. 48 Hours Until Monday centers on one husband’s desperate struggle to not let every weekend go to hell. Grandy will write and executive produce the project. Traugott and Rachel Kaplan will executive produce via their TBD Productions banner, which is under an overall deal with the studio.

Before working on Mindy Project, Grandy created and exec produced NBC’s Guys With Kids. He also served as co-exec producer on The Office and as a writer and producer for SNL‘s “Weekend Update”. He began his career on The Daily Show. Grandy is repped by UTA and attorney PJ Shapiro; TBD is with UTA and attorney Ken Richman.
