Most known for his role on ‘Medical Center’ as Dr. Joe Gannon, Chad Everett lost his life to lung cancer on July 24.

Chad Everett, who spent 40 years acting in Hollywood, has passed on. So sad!

Chad Everett died in Los Angeles at his home on Tuesday, July 24. Everett’s daughter passed along the news that he died after a year-and-a-half battle with lung cancer.

Not only did Everett star in Medical Center but also many TV series including Murder, She Wrote, Without A Trace, and The Love Boat. His most popular movie appearances include Melrose Place, Psycho, The Firechasers and The Jigsaw Murders.

Everett is survived by his six grandchildren and two daughters. He was married to actress Shelby Grant for 45 years until her death last year.
