Captain America Cozies Up With Alice Eve in First Look at Chris Evans’ Directorial Debut (Photo)
Chris Evans might be just the man Alice Eve needs in “Before We Go,” the “Avengers” star's directorial debut.
The first look at the indie romantic drama (above) shows Eve cozying up to Evans at a New York City diner.
“Before We Go,” formerly known as “1:30 Train,” follows Eve's character lost in the dark underbelly of New York at night with nothing and no one after missing her train to Boston. That is, until Evans, playing a down-on-his-luck saxophone player, sweeps her off her feet during a romantic, moonlit escapade on (and under) the city streets before the next train to Bean Town arrives.
Production wrapped before Evans reprised his “Captain America” role for the upcoming “Avengers” sequel, “Age of Ultron.”

The movie, written by veteran screenwriter Ronald Bass (“Rain Man”), does not yet have a release date.
