Bobby Brown Gets Emotional in First Public Appearance Since Bobbi Kristina Hospitalization
In his first public appearance since daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown was found unresponsive in a bathtub, Bobby Brown told fans he is grateful for their support.
“I want to thank all y’all for coming out tonight and supporting me and my family,” Brown said Saturday at the Soul Food Festival near downtown Los Angeles, according to People magazine.
“Rough times are rough times. Hard times are hard times. I don’t know what the hell I’m going through right now, but I’m giving it to God and lettin’ him deal with it,” he said.

After spending weeks at his daughter’s bedside, Brown told the crowd he was happy to be back on stage.
“I must tell y’all … this feels really, really, really good,” he said. Brown performed a medley of his hits including “My Prerogative” and “Roni.”
While he was on stage, wife Alicia Etheredge-Brown manned the Bobby Brown Foods booth at the festival, and sold items from Brown’s new line of BBQ products.

Bobbi Kristina, the daughter of Brown and deceased singer Whitney Houston, was found face-down in a bathtub at her Georgia home on Jan. 31. After being rushed to the hospital, she was placed in a medically-induced coma and attached to a ventilator.
Doctors attempted at least once to bring her out of the coma in order to judge whether there had been progress, but were forced to reverse course after she suffered seizures.
Last month she was moved from Emory University hospital to an undisclosed rehabilitation facility.
Her family, friends and fans have continued to remain hopeful that she will get better.
On Feb. 9, tears and prayers flowed at a candlelight vigil for Bobbi Kristina.
