Blake Lively Swaps Sexy Sandals For Comfy Flats On ‘Gossip Girl’ Set

The star was seen filming scenes for the final season of the hit series, where she pulled a shoe swap that reminded us of Kristen Stewart! It looks like comfort rules over cool looks — did K-Stew start the trend?

Blake Lively headed back to work on Jul. 18, where the star was seen looking so stylish on the NYC streets filming scenes for Gossip Girl with co-stars Barry Watson and Chace Crawford. She showed off a beautiful, blue Marc by Marc Jacobs ‘Miro’ summer dress with a pair of coral Christian Dior chain-embellished platform sandals. While the bright color combo was so chic, it wasn’t long before the star swapped out of these eye-catching heels for some more comfy flats–this is such a Kristen Stewart move!

While pulling a shoe swap is such a signature move of the Twilight star, both Blake and her co-star, Leighton Meester, are known for swapping their fancy, high-fashion footwear for Uggs while on set — especially during the winter! Kristen definitely isn’t alone when it comes to giving her feet a rest in comfy footwear, however, she still is the only one who keeps rocking the trend on the red carpet.
