Black Sabbath Rocks Single Off First Album in 35 Years on 'CSI' Finale [Exclusive Video]

Are you ready to rock?! How about bite the head off a dove? OK, forget the dove, but the upcoming "CSI" finale is definitely going hardcore rock 'n' roll with a heavy-metal cameo by the Ozzy Osbourne-fronted band Black Sabbath. And we've got an exclusive sneak peek at the episode that will make your ears bleed … in a good way.

The CSI team is on the hunt for who's behind a string of murders, and the investigation leads D.B. Russell (Ted Danson) and Conrad Ecklie (Marc Vann) straight to a Black Sabbath concert -- where band members Osbourne, Tony Iommi (guitarist), and Geezer Butler (bassist) are performing their new single, "End of the Beginning," from their album "13" -- slated for U.S. release on June 11.

Did we mention that it's the Season 13 finale? In a statement, executive producer Don McGill said, "Seeing as the album is titled '13' and this is the finale of 'CSI' Season 13, it seemed like the perfect match. We couldn't be more thrilled." Amazingly, "13" is Black Sabbath's first studio album with Osbourne since 1978's "Never Say Die!"

The appearance comes just weeks after Sharon Osbourne addressed divorce rumors and Ozzy's substance-abuse issues. "Everything that was printed in the tabloids has been distorted. There's always a little seed of truth to everything that gets reported, but then it gets very distorted," Sharon said on "The Talk," which she co-hosts. "We've dealt with worse, and we will deal with it, and this too shall pass. Otherwise my husband will be taken to the hospital to get my foot removed from his a--." Reports claimed that Ozzy has been drinking again, which Sharon confirmed, and abusing prescription drugs.

Ozzy hasn't made many TV appearances since his hit reality show, "The Osbournes," went off the air in 2005, but he hasn't really taken a break from rocking out. He appeared at Ozzfest 2010, and the festival is being revived this year with a first-time special leg: Ozzfest Japan. Black Sabbath is on the ticket for Japan's iteration. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers are also going on a worldwide tour starting in the U.S. in July 2013.

To hear some of Black Sabbath's new single, tune in to "CSI's" Season 13 finale on Wednesday, 5/15 at 10 PM on CBS.
