Benderspink, Astrowsky to Produce ‘Snowfall’ (Exclusive)

Benderspink and Evan Astrowsky have come on board to produce science-fiction horror vehicle “Snowfall” with Clark Baker directing.

Story, written by Brooks Elms & Glenn Sanders, takes place during a storm of the century blizzard and tracks a diverse group of Chicago residents trapped on the El Train, only to discover the storm is just a part of a cover for an alien invasion.

Benderspink is producing the upcoming comedy “We’re The Millers” for New Line and teamed with Astrowsky on the untitled Jordan Rubin project. Astrowsky produced “Cabin Fever” and the upcoming “Cabin Fever: Patient Zero.”

Baker directed the short film “Vessel,” which Paramount Insurge acquired last year and set up as a feature project.

Sanders has worked for TBWA\Chiat\Day and Saatchi and Saatchi. Elms wrote and directed the indie feature “Schooled.” The duo attended New York University with Atrowsky as undergraduates, and “Snowfall” was developed as a way for the classmates to work together again.

Project already has a presentation reel (click here to view).

Elms and Sanders are represented by UTA and managed by One Entertainment. Baker is repped by APA and managed by Mindframe Films & Management.
