‘Agents of SHIELD’ Adds Luke Mitchell for ‘Inhuman’ Role

Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” has cast “The Tomorrow People’s” Luke Mitchell in a recurring “Inhumans”-related role.

Mitchell will play Lincoln, a charismatic Inhuman who has an important role in helping Skye (Chloe Bennet) understand the true extent of her transformation.

The Inhumans, as they are known in the Marvel-verse, are a race of beings that have been genetically enhanced by the Kree, the same alien species from “Guardians of the Galaxy.” It was revealed in “SHIELD’s” midseason finale that Skye is actually Inhuman Daisy Johnson, aka Quake, and that her father, played by Kyle MacLachlan, is Dr. Calvin Zabo/Mr. Hyde, a villain in the comicbooks.

Developing the Inhumans story in “SHIELD” comes ahead of Marvel launching an “Inhumans” feature film in 2018.

“Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” returns to ABC on March 3 at 9 p.m.
