Abrams Artists New York Talent Agents Ellen Gilbert & Rachel Altman Join Paradigm

EXCLUSIVE: Paradigm continues to beef up its young talent representation ranks with the hire of New York based agents Ellen Gilbert and Rachel Altman who start tomorrow. Gilbert spent two decades at Abrams Artists where she has run the youth/young adult division for many years. Altman joined her there in 2002. At Paradigm, the duo will continue to develop the careers of emerging artists on both coasts while running Paradigm’s East Coast Youth/Young Adult division. Gilbert and Altman are expected to bring their roster of clients with them.

Paradigm made a move into the Youth/Young Adult representation space in 2011 when the agency brought in another veteran Abrams duo, Wendi Green, who’d run Abrams’ West Coast Youth Division, to head up Paradigm’s Youth Department, along with her No. 2 Jennifer Millar. Former Abrams’ colleagues Gilbert, Altman, Green and Millar, who spearheaded that agency’s youth representation on both coasts, are now reunited to do the same for Paradigm. Gilbert and Altman join recent Paradigm agent additions David Lillard and Christy Hall from IFA.
