'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' Season 5 finale trailer spotlights a possibly disappointing Jedi [Exclusive video]

The fifth season of "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" is quickly coming to a close, and the four-part finale looks to be the most epic "Clone Wars" episodes yet (really, have you ever seen so much double-lightsaber action?).

Season 5 has focused mostly on the relationship between pre-tragic Anakin Skywalker and his young Padawan, Ahsoka Tano. Ahsoka herself has had quite a character arc this season, from leading the rebellion on the Separatist world of Onderon to assisting Yoda with a Jedi rite of passage called the Gathering (which involves finding "lightsaber crystals" that Younglings must use to build their own lightsabers) to being kidnapped by ruthless crime boss and illegal-rocket-launcher supplier Hondo Ohnaka.

The finale begins with Episode 5.17, "Sabotage," which is set to air on Feb. 9 and will find Ahsoka and Anakin investigating an attack on a Jedi temple caused by an unidentified rogue Jedi. From there, three cleverly titled episodes hint at our heroes engaging in a little undercover work (or perhaps discussing Hitchcock films): "The Jedi Who Knew Too Much" (Episode 5.18, airing Feb. 16); "To Catch a Jedi" (Episode 5.19, airing Feb. 23); and the final episode, "The Wrong Jedi" (Episode 5.20, airing March 2), which is actually coming to our galaxy a day earlier than expected.

The finale will feature Ahsoka on the run and Anakin believing her "innocence," which has us thinking that the investigation into the attack on the Jedi temple that starts with this coming Saturday's episode isn't going to go so well.

Actually, wouldn't it be cool if Ahsoka Tano got one of those character-based "Star Wars" spinoff films everyone's been talking about lately?
