'Scandal' Exclusive Sneak Peek: 'Call My Bluff' [Video]

Mellie threatens to expose Fitz's affair to the entire country.

Hell hath no fury like a first lady scorned!

Last week, Mellie (Bellamy Young) packed up her bags to move across the street after she learned that Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) was visiting Olivia (Kerry Washington) in the hospital. Her departure was kept secret, thanks to underground tunnels, but now she's ready to blow the top off the president's affair.

In this exclusive sneak peek at Thursday night's new "Scandal" episode, Cyrus (Jeff Perry) tries to talk her down -- though calling her childish doesn't seem like the most persuasive argument -- but Mellie isn't budging. "I am the child? I'm not the one stealing the car to make out with my girlfriend," she retorts.

Fitz has 36 hours to apologize and recommit to his marriage, she tells the chief of staff.

"If he doesn't, he will have the pleasure of seeing the first lady of the United States call her husband a whore-loving bastard on national television," she warns.

"You wouldn't!" Cyrus replies.

Mellie gives him the Mellie-est of icy glares. "Call my bluff, Cy."

Meanwhile, the Gladiators are still digging into the identity of the mole, while Fitz asks Jake (Scott Foley; #HotScotts alert!) to protect Olivia. Will the president find out that his good friend and girlfriend slept together?

"Scandal" airs Thursdays at 10 PM on ABC.
