News Sentinel veterans Sam Venable and Charlie Daniel host lunchtime talk on new book

Knoxville journalism giants Sam Venable and Charlie Daniel will be discussing their new book "Naked Dining Is Not on My Menu and Other Whimsy" at noon May 8 at the East Tennessee History Center, 601 S. Gay St. in Knoxville.

Humorist Venable and cartoonist Daniel will "spin yarns" regarding their latest project, which published in March, during a lunchtime gathering, according to the Knox County Public Library. The talk is free and open to the public, and registration is not required.

Venable is a longtime columnist for the Knoxville News Sentinel, and Daniel has worked for both the Knoxville Journal and the News Sentinel. Both celebrated in their respective crafts, each will have the opportunity to share insights from their most recent collaborative efforts.

Ledger, a French startup mostly known for its secure crypto hardware wallets, has started shipping new wallets nearly 18 months after announcing the latest Ledger Stax devices.
