New York Comic Con 2015: Your Day-by-Day TV Calendar

When it comes to picking the highlight of the 2015 edition of the New York Comic Con, “X” most definitely marks the spot. We mean The X-Files, of course, which will unveil the first episode of the impending 2016 reboot in front of an NYCC crowd of staunch believers. But if you’re unable to snag a chair to witness the return of Mulder and Scully, never fear: you’ll have plenty of other TV-related panels to choose from. Here’s your day-by-day guide to the NYCC’s jam-packed television line-up. You’ve heard about Peak TV? Call this Peak Con TV.

Day 1: Thursday, Oct. 8

Comic Book Men (AMC)
Kevin Smith, Walter Flanagan, Bryan Johnson, Michael Zapcic, and Ming Chen return to New York Comic Con to discuss their hit AMC unscripted series, “Comic Book Men,” which returns for its fifth season on Sunday, October 18 at midnight. (12:15-1:15 p.m., Empire Stage 1-E)

Star Wars Rebels (Disney XD)
With new episodes of the exciting second season of Star Wars Rebels debuting on Disney XD this fall, fans will get an exclusive sneak peek of what’s to come in a panel featuring special guests and a discussion of the new storylines and characters being introduced throughout the new season. Be sure to return to the Empire Stage at 5:30 PM for a sneak preview of two new episodes from the series. (1:30-2:30 p.m. & 5:30-6:30 p.m., Empire Stage 1-E)

The Walking Dead: An Inside Look with Robert Kirkman (AMC)
Join creator Robert Kirkman and special guests as they explore the world of The Walking Dead franchise from the page and beyond. (2:45-3:45 p.m., Empire Stage 1-E)

Game of Thrones: A Panel of Ice and Fire (HBO)
Spend an hour with cast members Finn Jones (Ser Loras Tyrell), Natalie Dormer (Margaery Tyrell), and Keisha Castle-Hughes (Obara Sand) as they share stories from on set, speculate about Season 6, discuss upcoming projects, and of course, their mutual hatred of the Lannisters. (4:00-5:00 p.m., Empire Stage 1-E)

The Impractical Jokers’ Impractical Panel (TruTV)
Impractical Jokers stars Joe Gatto, Sal Vulcano, Brian “Q “ Quinn, and James “Murr” Murray will be answering fan questions and telling stories about their lives in front of and behind the camera. Special exclusive clips from their archives, as well as a sneak peek of the new season will be shown. (4:15-5:15 p.m., Room 1A10)

Legends (TNT)
Sean Bean will preview the second season of his TNT series, in which he plays Martin Odum, an undercover spy who lives out on the edge to infiltrate dangerous worlds. (7:00-8:00 p.m., Empire Stage 1-E)

Banshee (Cinemax)
The creators and cast of the acclaimed Cinemax action series preview Banshee’s fourth and final season. One thing is for sure: there will be blood. (7:00-8:00 p.m., Room 1A06)

WBTV Preview Night Screenings
Stick around the NYCC into the evening hours to scope out the pilots of two of the season’s most anticipated shows, CBS’s Supergirl and The CW’s Containment, as well as an exclusive look at Legends of Tomorrow, which will join the CW’s superhero portfolio at midseason. (7:15-9:30 p.m., Main Stage 1-D)

Titmouse, Inc.
Meet with one of the largest 2D animation studios in America. Talk with directors, creators, producers, and animators of shows like Moonbeam City, The Venture Bros. and Black Dynamite. (7:45-8:45 p.m., Room 1A21)

Day 2: Friday, Oct. 9

Stitchers and Pretty Little Liars (ABC Family)
ABC Family assembles the casts and crews of new hit Stitchers and long-running favorite Pretty Little Liars. Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Lucy Hale, Shay Mitchell, and Sasha Pieterse are among the Liars who will on hand to meet and greet the show’s fans. (11:00 a.m. -12:15 p.m., Room 1A06)

The Librarians (TNT)
Join Rebecca Romijn, Christian Kane, John Kim, Lindy Booth, and John Larroquette for a first look at the Season 2 premiere of The Librarians and post-screening Q&A. Stick around to get a first look at TNT’s new series Agent X, starring Sharon Stone and Jeff Hephner. (11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Empire Stage 1-E)

Adventure Time (Cartoon Network)
The magical minds behind Adventure Time are finally unlocking the secrets behind one of Ooo’s most righteous and mysterious characters. This October, Cartoon Network presents a special 8-part story that explores the life of Marceline the Vampire Queen. Be the first to get a sneak peak of the exciting story before it airs, live with the cast and crew. (11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Hammerstein Ballroom)

Elementary and Limitless (CBS)
See what’s in store for CBS’s popular procedurals, the modern-day Sherlock Holmes mystery Elementary and the small-screen adaptation of the hit Bradley Cooper movie Limitless. (1:30-3:00 p.m., Hammerstein Ballroom)

In Conversation with Seth Meyers (NBC)
A fixture in comedy since he joined Saturday Night Live in 2001, Meyers made a name for himself as the Head Writer and Weekend Update host. After leaving SNL, Meyers moved on to becoming the host of Late Night. Get a closer look at this versatile comedian’s rise from Chicago improviser to late night host. (1:45-2:45 p.m., Room 1A10)

A Fireside Chat with Comedy’s First Couple Samantha Bee and Jason Jones (TBS)
The former Daily Show correspondents provide some scoop on their respective TBS projects. Jones previews his upcoming comedy series The Detour, while Bee will chat about getting into the male-dominated late night game with her new talk show, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee. (3:00-4:00 p.m., Room 1A10)

Colony and Mr. Robot (USA)
Josh Holloway and Sarah Wayne Callis give fans a first look at the Carlton Cuse-produced sci-fi series Colony. Then it’s time to celebrate the exploits of hacker supergroup Fsociety in a panel celebrating USA’s critically acclaimed summer hit Mr. Robot. (3:30-6:00 p.m., Hammerstein Ballroom)

Exorcism: Live! (Destination America)
Destination America hosts the first live televised exorcism in U.S. history on Friday, Oct. 30 at 9/8c. The live event will take place at the original Exorcist House in the suburbs of St. Louis where the infamous ritual was performed in 1949. For the first time at New York Comic Con, you will meet some of the team who will be performing this death-defying act as well as experts who have dedicated their lives to the science of demonic possession. Interact with the Producers and find out EXCLUSIVELY what will be happening on the day of the LIVE! event before anyone else. (4:15-5:15 p.m., Room 1A10)

Once Upon a Time (ABC)
Co-creators and Executive Producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz invite you to an exclusive screening of an upcoming episode and a panel with series star Jennifer Morrison. (4:30-5:30 p.m., Empire Stage 1-E)

Todd Margaret (IFC)
Todd Margaret is back, three years after he blew up the world. Created by, written by, and starring David Cross, Todd Margaret returns to IFC for a third season. See how it all plays out at this sneak peek screening of Episodes 1 and 2, before they air on IFC in 2016. (5:30-7:00 p.m., Room 1A10)

Teen Wolf (MTV)
The pack of MTV’s hit series Teen Wolf will dish secrets and answer fan questions. (5:45-6:45 p.m., Empire Stage 1-E)

Marvel Television Presents: Agents of Primetime (ABC)
Marvel Studios Head of Television Jeph Loeb returns with exciting news about your favorite Marvel agents on ABC. Be the first to see an all-new episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. before it airs on ABC and find out what’s ahead for Peggy and Jarvis in the upcoming season of Marvel’s Agent Carter. Con Man (Vimeo)

Shadowhunters (ABC Family)
Based on the bestselling young adult fantasy book series The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, Shadowhunters follows 18 year-old Clary Fray who finds out on her birthday that she is not who she thinks she is, but rather comes from a long line of human-angel hybrids who hunt down demons. The panel will include exclusive footage and a Q&A with cast members Katherine McNamara, Dominic Sherwood, Harry Shum Jr., and book author Cassandra Clare. Into the Badlands (AMC)
Daniel Wu, Aramis Knight, Marton Csokas, Emily Beechum, and Orla Brady join executive producers Al Gough, Miles Millar, and Stephen Fung to discuss their new AMC martial arts series, set in a post-apocalyptic America and based on an ancient Chinese legend. (11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Room 1A06)

The Shannara Chronicles (MTV)

The X-Files (Fox)
Before the cultural phenomenon returns to Fox in January, New York Comic Con will host the U.S. premiere of The X-Files event series. Be the first to see a special advance screening of the first episode, “My Struggle,” followed by a Q&A with Chris Carter and David Duchovny, moderated by X-Files superfan Kumail Nanjiani. Outcast (Cinemax)

Ash vs Evil Dead (Starz)
Hail to the King, baby. Horror movie royalty Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell discuss the highly anticipated Evil Dead series and what fans can expect in the premiere season. (3:00-4:00 p.m., Hammerstein Ballroom)

Regular Show (Cartoon Network)
Four words: Regular. Show. The. Movie. Hear funny stories, watch scenes from the movie, and squeal along to exclusive announcements about the upcoming season. Regular Show alum Sean Szeles will be on hand to share his newest creation, Long Live the Royals premiering later this fall on Cartoon Network. Jessica Jones and Daredevil (Netflix)
Join the cast of Marvel’s Jessica Jones in their first-ever appearance as they answer questions and reveal secrets from the hotly-anticipated show debuting on Netflix later this year, and celebrate some of the greatest moments (like that epic hallway battle) from Season 1 of Marvel’s Daredevil. Containment (The CW)
When a mysterious and deadly epidemic breaks out in Atlanta, a vast urban quarantine is quickly enforced, forcing those trapped on the inside to fight for their lives while local and federal officials desperately search for a cure. From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series (El Rey)

Lost Girl (Syfy)
Join Ksenia Solo and Rachel Skarsten as they discuss the final season of the cult Canadian hit, and you’ll also hear about their gigs on Orphan Black and Reign. (6:30-7:30 p.m., Room 1A06)

Bordertown (Fox)

Lookinglass (Fox)
Join star Rob Kazinsky for a special advance screening of Fox highly anticipated new action-drama, following a disgraced, 75-year-old ex-sheriff, whose life ends at the hands of corrupt cops and is then brought back to life – by a pair of young tech scientists who are founder of the social networking empire. Gravity Falls Revisited (Disney XD)
