New Nats skipper Dave Martinez finds plenty of former teammates on 'Old Baseball Cards'

When you played 16 years in the big leagues for nine different teams, you’re bound to have a lot of former teammates. Just ask Dave Martinez, the new Washington Nationals manager.

Martinez is this week’s guest on our “Old Baseball Cards” show and he finds plenty of teammates as we open up a couple packs of cards. He opened some 1987 Topps (yes, behold the wood paneling) and I opened some 1990 Upper Deck. We found plenty of Martinez’s old teammates, one the hardest hitters he’s ever seen and one of the fastest guys he’s ever played with.

We also pulled off a trade with a lot of baggage.
