New ‘Fuller House’ Trailer Debuts on ‘Ellen’

Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber, and Jodie Sweetin premiered a new Fuller House trailer on Ellen Tuesday. Netflix will air the Full House revival on February 26. The trailer revealed to eager audiences what has been teased for weeks: that much of the original cast is returning to their roles and that it focuses on Cameron Bure’s character, D.J., raising her children with the help of her sister Stephanie and best friend Kimmy.

Of course, as has long been reported, neither Mary-Kate nor Ashley Olsen will be returning to their role of Michelle in Season 1. The ladies made sure to point out to host Ellen DeGeneres that the twins will always be welcome to come back should there be a second season and that their character is referenced on the show. Meanwhile, fans of Full House will likely be happy with Fuller. It has the same family-friendly humor and memorable catchphrases that made the 90’s sitcom a lasting favorite.
