Neve Campbell is glimpsing into her former Party of Five character’s future.

For PEOPLE StyleWatch’s Spring 2024 issue, the actress, 50, speculates on what her character Julia Salinger might be up to after the ‘90s drama concluded in 2000. Julia, the middle child of the five Salinger orphans, ends the series by leaving San Francisco at age 20.

But what happens after she part ways with her siblings?

“She'd be a professional writer,” Campbell says. “That was her thing. She always wanted to be a professional writer. Maybe she's written a few novels, maybe she's writing for the New York Times. I don't know. She's a bright girl.”

“She probably ended up with Justin. That's what people want me to say,” she continues, referring to Julia’s longtime love interest played by Michael Goorjian.

She reveals that even 30 years out from the Fox series, she and her family are still close to Goorjian, 53. The actor is the godfather to Campbell and her partner JJ Feild’s two children Caspian, 11, and Raynor, 6.

As for the rest of the cast, she lives close to Lacey Chabert, who portrayed Julia’s younger sister Claudia. “She was [a] itty-bitty little girl when I met her. It was so crazy. And she's a happy mom and an incredible woman,” the Scream star says of Chabert, 41.

Although she doesn’t see her on-screen older brothers Scott Wolf and Matthew Fox as often, the cast is “all still pretty tight.”

“We played brothers and sisters and siblings who've gone through a really traumatic time,” she explains of their bond. “We were living that every day, and we're shooting on film at that time,  so we were doing 16, 17-hour days Monday through Friday, 10 months a year. We spent more time with each other than any of our own families or friends. So of course you become tight.”

Chabert echoed the sentiment in January 2023 during an appearance on Good Day DC, calling the Party of Five cast “a family” to her.

“I think about who I am today and how so much of that is a result of that wonderful group of people, and we're forever bonded and connected,” the Mean Girls actress said at the time.

Wolf, 55, told PEOPLE Now in 2019 that he became emotional while rewatching episodes of the series on Netflix. He described the experience as “revisiting your early life and your family, because it was very much a second family.”
