Created by Jordon Nardino (Desperate Housewives, Smash), Netflix’s upcoming series Glamorous will tell the story of Marco Mejia (played by Miss Benny), a gender-nonconforming person who lands a job working under a legendary makeup mogul named Madolyn Addison (played by Kim Cattrall). While navigating this new career opportunity, Marco also learns about what it means to be queer.
Cattrall’s character, Madolyn, is described as a “veteran from the Golden Age of Supermodels who is the founder and CEO of the prestigious boutique beauty brand that bears her name.” Zane Phillips plays her son, Chad, who’s constantly trying to live up to his mom’s high expectations.
Other Glamorous characters include Venetia (Jade Payton), Madolyn’s first assistant; Ben (Michael Hsu Rosen), a graphic designer; Britt (Ayesha Harris), also a graphic designer; and Parker (Graham Parkhurst), a self-proclaimed “gay jock.”
