Plus, viewers may learn a thing or two about the industry itself, in London and globally. If you're excited about the refreshing onscreen divergence from the California real estate market, discover more details about the show below—from the company it centers on to who is in the cast (turns out, they don't all work at the same place!).

What Is Buying London About?

Buying London follows the founder of DDRE Global Daniel Daggers and his team as they conquer and revolutionize the luxury real estate market in London—from the posh streets of Mayfair to the exclusive areas of Holland Park. The team specializes in super-prime property listings, which are generally defined as homes "in excess of 10 million pounds or $10 million,” Daggers tells House Beautiful, noting his self-proclaimed title of Mr. Super Prime is inspired by the common industry term." As it was sort of catching fire, I only really worked in that marketplace, and capturing people's attention and calling yourself by the market is a pretty nice marketing tool."

Daggers founded DDRE Global in 2020, just before the pandemic, and has worked with royal families, successful entrepreneurs, and high-profile people in sports, entertainment, and finance throughout his career. And while DDRE’s transactions are mainly UK-based, the company sells properties everywhere from Dubai to Hong Kong. The series emphasizes the company's relationship-centric, technology-driven approach to buying and selling real estate in the ultra-luxury market.

The cast for Buying London includes Daniel Daggers, Lauren Christy, Oliver Hamilton, Rasa Bagdonaviciute, Reme Nicole, Rosi Walden, Olivia Wayne, Juliana Ardenius, and Alex Bourne. Typically, in other real estate reality shows, the cast is solely made up of real estate agents who work at the same brokerage, but that's not the case in Buying London. Olivia Wayne's title at DDRE Global is broadcaster, meaning she handles content creation for the agency. Juliana Ardenius is an interior designer with her own business who collaborates with the DDRE Global team. Alex Bourne founded the real estate agency London House, meaning he's actually a competitor and one of Daggers's oldest friends.

When Does Buying London Premiere?

Buying London premieres on Netflix on May 22, 2024. There are seven episodes in the show’s first season.
