Netflix’s new dark comedy No Good Deed, from creator-EP Liz Feldman (Dead to Me), has expanded its cast with the addition of Feldman’s Emmy-nominated Dead to Me star Linda Cardellini, as well as Luke Wilson (Fingernails), Teyonah Parris (The Marvels), Abbi Jacobson (A League of Their Own) and Poppy Liu (Hacks).

Also set to star in the eight-episode half-hour series, as previously announced, are Ray Romano and Lisa Kudrow.

More from Deadline

The show follows three very different families vying to buy the very same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they think will solve all their problems. But as the sellers have already discovered, sometimes the home of your dreams can be a total nightmare.

Cardellini plays Margo Starling, a perfectly-coiffed status seeker with buried secrets to spare, who knows how to get what she wants — and what she wants is the in-demand Morgan house so she can flip it for profit with her lover, a high-end developer.

Wilson portrays JD Campbell, a depressed, out-of-work soap opera star desperate to land his next job, who’s looking to downsize from his modern McMansion while still maintaining both his lavish lifestyle and his marriage to a demanding wife.

Parris is Carla, a high-achieving and somewhat sardonic architect and expectant mother. Carla and new husband Dennis are on the hunt for the perfect home for their expanding family. The former falls hard for the Morgan house but the impending financial stress reveals some cracks in her new marriage.

Jacobson’s character, Leslie Fisher, is clever, curious and competitive to a fault. She’s thrilled to discover that the Los Feliz home she and her wife have admired from afar has finally come on the market.

Liu plays the soulful, grounded and uncompromisingly decent Sarah, who often serves as a much-needed moral compass to wife Leslie (Jacobson) — though she’s not without some secrets of her own. She’s intrigued when the Morgan house comes on the market but has some deep reservations.

As previously revealed, Romano plays the beautiful Los Feliz home’s owner, Paul Morgan, a stressed and flat-broke contractor desperate to retire, pay off his debts, and escape LA. Paul thinks selling the place is the solution to all his and his wife Lydia’s problems, but his past mistakes will continue to haunt him.

Kudrow is Paul’s wife Lydia, a highly talented (and highly strung) former concert pianist, who is devoted to her husband and a loving-though-flawed mother to their two children. She is distraught by the idea of selling their Los Feliz home, a place filled with happy memories and dark secrets.

Feldman serves as showrunner for No Good Deed and is joined as an exec producer by Will Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum for Gloria Sanchez Productions; Christie Smith; and Silver Tree, who is also set to helm the pilot and additional episodes. Casting for the show was handled by Sherry Thomas & Russell Scott.

Cardellini is repped by CAA, Mosaic and Jackoway Austen Tyerman; Wilson by WME; Parris by CAA, ColorCreative and Fox Rothschild; Jacobson by UTA and Jackoway Austen Tyerman; and Liu by Buchwald, Framework Entertainment and Schreck Rose Dapello.
