NeNe Leakes and her family might need to gather in the same room and burn some sage. They seem to be having a run of bad luck after the OG’s departure from Real Housewives of Atlanta. NeNe’s son Bryson Bryant is in some hot water after being arrested for drug possession. Now NeNe’s oldest child has some demands.

Bryson is also waaaaay behind on child support payments, so his life is a mess right now. He’s preparing to go to trial in a felony narcotics case and before the case is heard Bryson wants to know what skeletons are about to come running out of the closet. Radar has the scoop.

Bryson’s list of demands

Court docs show that Bryson and his legal team requested the government provide them with a list of witnesses they may call. Additionally, Bryson’s attorneys want copies of his statements during a police-recorded questioning session.

The documents say, “Defendant in the above-styled case demands any relevant written or recorded statements made by Defendant within the possession, custody, or control of the state as well as that portion of any written record containing the substance of any relevant oral statement made by Defendant, whether before or after arrest, in response to interrogation by any person then known to the Defendant to be a law enforcement officer or member of the prosecuting attorney’s staff.”

It continues, “In addition, Defendant demands any other relevant written or oral statement made by Defendant, before or after arrest, whether or not made in response to interrogation.”

Bryson’s side wants to “examine, test, and analyze” evidence deemed crucial that is “within the possession, custody, or control of the Forensic Sciences Division of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Office of the District Attorney, or any other laboratory, office, or facility utilized by the State of Georgia.”

The motion further requests prosecutors expose agreements between their chosen witnesses.

All of this hoopla is because Bryson was busted last July for felony possession of Fentanyl. He also had a separate charge of loitering. When first questioned by police, Bryson falsely identified himself as his little brother. That led to an additional charge of “giving a false name, address, or birthdate to a law enforcement officer.”

Bryson spent about three months behind bars. This case is ongoing.
