Neil Young + Crazy Horse to play Pine Knob in May on Love Earth Tour

Neil Young will make his first metro Detroit appearance in five years — and first in two decades backed by Crazy Horse — when he plays Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston on May 22.
Pine Knob is part of a just-announced spring run dubbed the Love Earth Tour, coming in support of the new Neil Young + Crazy Horse album “Fu##in’ Up,” out April 26 (and available the prior weekend on vinyl as part of Record Store Day). Ticket buyers can opt in to receive a free CD copy of the album.
Tickets for Neil Young + Crazy Horse’s Pine Knob show will go on sale at 10 a.m. Feb. 16. Seats will also be available in a series of presales, including one that started 1 p.m. Tuesday via neilyoungarchives.com.
Detroit is one of 15 markets on spring tour, which will kick off with a pair of San Diego shows in April. Young will be joined by a Crazy Horse lineup that includes longtime bassist Billy Talbot and drummer Ralph Molina along with guitarist Nils Lofgren.
It’ll be Young’s first show in the Detroit area since a 2018 solo date at the Fox Theatre, which was also the scene of his last performance here with Crazy Horse, in 2004.
