Arrow debuted on the CW in 2012 on October 12th and has been a fan favorite when it comes to the unsuspecting hero. The story follows Oliver Queen, a millionaire playboy who was thought dead at sea and comes back to fight crime and corruption in Starling City.

Stranded for five years on a remote island he garners the ultimate fighting skills and masters the bow and arrow to defeat heinous foes. Along the way he creates a band of close friends and team members.

Amell, alongside his costars, have found a special home on the set of Arrow and have dedicated almost eight years of their lives to an incredible show. The CW has also allowed him to create a bond with stars from its other shows like The Flash, SuperGirl, Legends of Tomorrow and now Batwoman.

Amell has documented behind the scene moments on set, but with the end nearing on the final season he is feeling more nostalgic than ever.

What’s better than than SuperGirl (Melissa Benoist) and The Flash (Grant Gustin) singing his daughter Maverick happy birthday.

He went on Instagram to document the moment saying, “Supergirl, The Flash, (redacted), Batwoman, Superman & The Atom singing our daughter Happy Birthday with the entire Supergirl Crew was pretty cool. Lotta Dad Points today. Lotta Dad Points. Happy Birthday Maverick.” He later went on to post a behind the scenes photo of the first prep day of the series finale.

The iconic Arrow suit has been the costume of choice at many ComicCons and Amell posted a photo of him in his suit, adorned with his trust bow and arrow one last time. If you have watched the show, you know about one of Oliver Queens favorite workouts, the ascending salmon ladder. It works almost every part of the body and yes he does do it shirtless countless times.

Amell shared a sweet photo of his daughter with he caption, “Working on Arrow changed my life. And every single time I think I’ve got my emotions in check, something like this happens.”

His latest post, having wrapped production of the final season, goes to his wife, “Me and @cassandrapants celebrated the end of Chapter 1 tonight. Not sure what’s next... which I’m cool with, because she’s by my side.” Cue the emotional waterfall of tears that follows and it won’t stop there.

With only halfway into the final season, get ready to say goodbye to the beloved hooded vigilante. Fans don't know what the future holds for Oliver Queen and his team.
