Wilmer Valderrama is adding a new role to his resume, and it's one that holds a special place in his heart.

The actor is currently starring on NCIS and raising his daughter Nakano Oceana with his fiancée Amanda Pacheco, but in between acting and being a parent, he's been working on another personal project behind the scenes.

In a video uploaded on Instagram on April 8, Wilmer revealed his plans to publish a memoir about his life and working in Hollywood. Titled An American Story: Everyone's Invited, Wilmer shared the book will be published on September 17, 2024 in both English and Spanish, and it will be a tale regaling all the important moments that led him to where he is today.

"This is my thank you to my younger self for seeing beyond the expected. Thank you to my family and every person who has been a part of this whirlwind journey. This is my tribute to my mama y papa’s sacrifice... mi gente Latina and to the country that gave me a shot, this is for all of us."

When fans learned the That '70s Show alum was releasing a first account of his road to fame and success, folks immediately sent words of encouragement online.
